Corrections policy

The short version.
If tecMAMBO gets a material fact wrong, we review the evidence, correct the article, and add a visible note that explains the important change. Readers can report errors through our editorial email address or contact page.
1. How to report an error
Email hello@tecMAMBO.com or use our contact page. Please include the article link, the passage you believe is wrong, and a reliable source or explanation that helps us assess it.
2. How we review a report
An editor reviews the article, its recorded sources, and the evidence supplied. Where needed, we consult the writer, an original source, or an appropriate primary document. A request does not guarantee a change, but every specific factual concern is considered on its evidence.
3. What we correct
We correct factual errors, material omissions, misleading wording, wrong attribution, and broken context that changes a reader's understanding. Minor spelling or formatting fixes that do not change meaning may be corrected without a note.
4. How substantial corrections are disclosed
A substantial correction receives a visible note on the article that states what was wrong and what changed. We do not quietly erase a material error. If an article cannot be repaired responsibly, we may remove it from discovery or publication and explain the decision where appropriate.
5. Publication and modification dates
The original publication date remains attached to an article. The updated date changes only when the article receives a meaningful editorial update, correction, or addition. Article pages show both dates when they differ, including the time and East Africa Time designation.
